Clarke

Aethiops antimonialis is suited to scrofulous constitutions with a tendency to chronic skin eruptions, glandular suppurations, and hereditary syphilitic taint. Its combined antimony and mercury action covers eczema, favus, ophthalmia, and offensive otorrhea, especially in individuals with a hereditary miasmatic background.

Key symptoms

  • Scrofulous, herpetic, and eczematous eruptions and discharges
  • Favus-like eruptions of the skin
  • Eruptions arising from fright
  • Painful, irritating, scabby eruptions of the face
  • Scrofulous ophthalmia
  • Scrofulous otorrhea, offensive in character
  • Hereditary syphilis
