Natrium Lacticum suits patients with gouty or rheumatic diathesis who develop concretions in the joints, especially the fingers. There is marked lassitude and weakness, particularly of the lower limbs, accompanied by excessive sleepiness. The remedy has limited proving data and is used chiefly on clinical indications.

  • Unusual hunger and thirst
  • Rheumatoid pains throughout the body
  • Great weakness of the lower limbs after physical exertion
  • Abnormal fatigue with yawning and sleepiness
  • Prolonged and sounder sleep

Worse (aggravation)

  • Great physical exertion (weakness of lower limbs worse)

Better (amelioration)

  • Sleep (more prolonged and sounder)
