Pancreatinum

Pancreatin (pancreatic enzymes) · Sarcode

Clarke

Pancreatinum is indicated for conditions arising from deficient or faulty pancreatic function, including pancreatic diabetes and diarrhoea. Burnett found it of value in gout, suggesting a broader metabolic action related to the pancreas and salivary glands.

Key symptoms

  • Pancreatic diabetes with disordered digestion
  • Diarrhoea from pancreatic insufficiency
  • Mumps and parotid gland affections
  • Gout responding to pancreatic support
  • Disease of the pancreas generally
