Tamoxifenum

Tamoxifen (base); chemically (Z)-2-[4-(1,2-diphenylbut-1-enyl)phenoxy]-N,N-dimethylethanamine. The commercial/pharmaceutical salt is tamoxifen citrate. · Tamoxifen; Nolvadex (brand); Tamoxifenum (homeopathic Latin form); "Tamoxifen 7c" as used tautopathically.

Modern MM
A modern drug remedy with NO formal proving. Its homeopathic sphere of action is inferred from tamoxifen's documented toxicology/pharmacology and is used almost exclusively tautopathically/isopathically — i.e. the potentized drug given to a patient suffering the side effects of taking tamoxifen itself. The inferred sphere centres on the female endocrine/reproductive system and vasomotor regulation: hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood and sleep disturbance.

Key symptoms

Used tautopathically for the adverse-effect picture of tamoxifen therapy, NOT from a proving: hot flushes and night sweats; vaginal dryness and gynaecological discomfort; mood swings, irritability, low mood/depression and mental fog; disturbed sleep; weight gain and fluid retention; nausea. In the documented case (Bagot & Delègue), the potentized drug (Tamoxifen 7c) was paired with the constitutionally indicated simillimum (Pulsatilla) to improve tolerance and adherence. No characteristic mind/general keynotes from a human proving are available.

Worse (aggravation)

No proving-derived modalities exist. Adverse effects attributed to the parent drug appear or worsen during the course of oral tamoxifen therapy, often most pronounced in the first months/years of treatment; vasomotor symptoms are characteristically worse with warmth and at night. (Toxicological observation, not a proving modality.)

Better (amelioration)

No proving-derived ameliorating modalities are on record. Not to be fabricated.

Source & Nature

TAMOXIFENUM is the homeopathic preparation of tamoxifen, a synthetic nonsteroidal triphenylethylene and the prototype first-generation Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM, antiestrogen). Molecular formula C26H29NO (base), molecular weight approximately 371.5 g/mol; PubChem CID 2733526; CAS 10540-29-1 (base). The marketed citrate salt is C32H37NO8 (PubChem CID 2733525; CAS 54965-24-1). The parent drug (brand Nolvadex and generics) is among the most widely prescribed oncology agents worldwide, used as adjuvant and preventive endocrine therapy in estrogen-receptor-positive breast cancer.
